Juan Piquer Simón's 1988 cult classic Slugs is exactly the kind of movie this show was made for — and we had an absolute blast covering it. We dig into the hilariously bad dubbing that has to be heard to be believed, the unhinged decision to use hundreds of real live slugs on set, and practical effects that genuinely impress even when everything else around them is falling apart. We also talk about the uneven story, some acting choices that left us speechless, and two of the most unforgettable moments in late 80s horror — a face full of worms that has to be seen to be believed and a hero who decided the best way to save the day was to just blow up the entire town.
